Did you know that breast milk is highly recommended for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to its numerous benefits for premature and ill infants?

It provides essential nutrients, antibodies, and growth factors that are particularly crucial for their development and helps protect them from infections and other health issues.

August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month and for the last three years Carter G. Cares has donated 15-20 breast pumps to NICU moms at Franklin Square Hospital. This year we would like to expand our goal by raising $1000 to donate 20 breastfeeding/pumping kits. Each kit is $50 and will include not only pumps but hydration kits for moms. This initiative is near and dear to us because Carter received mama’s milk until he was one and with his fragile system, it literally helped save his life! We hope that you will partner with us to give other moms the essentials to start their breastfeeding/pumping journey’s! To donate please click DONATE and in the notes specify that the donation is for this initiative. We can also accept donations via Cash app at $CarterGCares

Thank you for your continued support! We will be accepting donations until August 5th with a goal to deliver in August in celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Month.
